Betty Sue (Wolfenbarger) Heidbrink, 76, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Friday February 3, 2017 at the St. Mary’s Manor in Blue Springs, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Frist Christian Church, 224 W. Dryden St., Odessa, MO, 64076. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Burial will be in the Greenton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church. Memories and condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com or on our Facebook Page.
Betty was born on February 22, 1940 in Odessa, MO to Baxter Morrow and Katherene (Raynes) Wolfenbarger. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1958. On December 24, 1960 she married Donald Heidbrink in Odessa. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2015. Betty retired from Western Electric. She was a member of the First Christian Church for over 50 years. Betty also was a member of the Karen Bell Choir and the American Legion Post 286 Auxiliary in Odessa. In addition to spending time with her family and friends she enjoyed playing the piano, organ and collecting music boxes.
Survivors include a brother, Joe Wolfenbarger of Blue Springs, MO and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Pallbearers will be: Brent Wolfenbarger, Brian Wolfenbarger, Marcus Wolfenbarger, Gunner Martin, Kaylob Hutsell, and Sebastian Wolfenbarger
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mike Carroll and Grant Hartwig
