Dwain Lee Turner-Cole

Dwain Lee Turner Cole, 58, of Independence, passed away May 3, 2018 at his home. Funeral Service will be 1:00pm, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the United Methodist Church, Lexington. Visitation will also on Saturday at the church from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Dwain was born April 21, 1960 in St. Louis to James Cole and Dawn Turner Cole. He married Tracy Lynn Howard Cole on June 15, 1990. He worked in road construction for over 20 years and was a member of Bridge to Hope Ministries.

Dwain is survived by his mother; his wife, his children, Shawnise Player of California, Jazmine Cole of Independence and Tempestt Cole of Kansas City; brother, James Cole of Independence; sisters, Sherri Crutchfield of St. Louis and Marilyn Cole of Independence; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Additional survivors include his Aunts, Lavern Collins and Elizabeth West.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Cole, his daughter, Nytiesha Cole and his brother, Rodney Cole.
