Kathleen Eva Hattey, 74, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away February 23, 2018 at her home with family nearby. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10:30am, at Community of Christ Church, Odessa. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, Odessa. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Outreach International.
Kathleen was born July 8, 1943 in Bremerton, Washington to Lawrence and Persis (Lundeen) Updike. She married Dennis Hattey December 17, 1961. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church, a homemaker and had worked at Valley Welders in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Kathleen is survived by her husband of the home; her children, Jeffory Hattey and wife Susan of Columbus, Ohio, Randal Hattey of Edmond, Oklahoma, Marsha Moore and husband Jeff of Garland, Texas, Mark Hattey and wife Star of Carthage, Missouri, Darren Hattey of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Stephen Hattey of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 16 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and sisters, Judith Updike of Odessa, Missouri, Ivy Hawes of Blue Springs, Missouri and Carol Hamilton of Covington, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
