MARGARET L. KOUNOVSKY
Margaret L. Kounovsky, 88, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri.
Per Margaret’s request, cremation. Inurnment will take place at a later date in St. Louis, Missouri.
Margaret was born February 18, 1928 in St. Louis, the daughter of George Kornmeier and Sophia Wittmeier Jecmen. Her father died at a young age, Margaret was raised by her mother and step father, Charles Jecmen. She married Milton Charles Kounovksy in St. Louis.
She was a homemaker.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Karen Winemiller of Lexington, her grandson, Grant Winemiller of Lee’s Summit and her sister, Mary Ann Madrid of St. Louis.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, George Kornmeier.
