Nancy A. Phillips, 91 of Kearney, Missouri formerly of Odessa & Monett, MO passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Liberty Health and Wellness Center, Liberty, MO.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A memorial service will be held at the Bennett & Wormington Funeral Home, 216 2nd St., Monett, MO, 65708, 417-235-3141, on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at the Monett City Cemetery, Monett, MO. Nancy Ann Means was born on March 30, 1925 to Merle and Mary Spahr Means in Monett, MO. She was married to Paul E. Phillips from 1949 until 1986. Nancy had been a homemaker and was an outstanding seamstress, avid reader and loved classical music. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Kearney, MO
Survivors include her daughters; Debra Criser and husband Roger of Papillion, NE, Rosemary Lett of Kearney, MO, Ida Hein and husband John of Holt, MO, Sue Madrid, and husband Joe of Olathe, KS, Paula McGee and husband Matthew of Kearney, MO, Edith Biggerstaff and husband Bud of Round Rock, TX, and Rachel Leath and husband Daniel of Holt, MO; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Means of Lowry City, MO; and two sisters, Jennie Schelin of Verona, MO and Martha Sue Widmeyer of FT. Wayne, IN.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary E. McClure.
