Robert “Danny” Daniel Pitts, 53, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
Danny’s family will host a Celebration of Life for family and friends at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 1064 Cheatham Rd., Bates City, MO 64011. Per Danny’s request cremation. Memorials are suggested to the Lafayette County Cancer Coalition. Memories and condolence for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com or on our Facebook Page. Danny was born on July 22, 1964 in Independence, MO to Donald and Marjorie (Hood) Pitts. He graduated in 1982 from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO. On May 22, 2004 he married Krystal Bailey Pitts in Independence, MO. She survives of the home. Danny was a carpenter and tile layer by trade. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Danny enjoyed fishing, hunting, building rockets and enjoying sports with his sons.
Survivors include Danny’s wife, Krystal Bailey Pitts of Odessa, MO; two children, Billy Pitts and Tanner Pitts both of Odessa, MO; a brother, David Pitts and wife Debra of Raytown, MO; two sisters, Donna Cook and husband Jim of Lee’s Summit, MO and Mary Cornett and husband Garry of Bates City, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
