William “Bill” H. Corn, 56 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Saturday January 28, 2017 at home.
The family will host a Celebration of Life (open mic night) at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Odessa Restoration Branch, 6783 Highway 131, Odessa, MO, 64076 Inurnment will follow in the Corn Cemetery in Oak Grove, MO. Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Ave #204, Overland Park, KS 66202. Bill was born on June 11, 1960 in Lexington, MO to Paul N. and Ruth (Dahl) Corn. He worked at Tire City in Odessa until becoming disabled from a Kidney condition. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Bill enjoyed wood carving, collecting clocks, watching the Chiefs, Royals, and pro wrestling.
Survivors include three sons, Billy D. Corn of Odessa, MO, Dennis Wayne Corn and fiancé Kristin Mooney of Holden, MO and Brett Corn and wife Rita of Independence, MO; three grandchildren, Madison Corn, Elana Corn and Harland Corn; three brothers, Craig Corn, Rick Corn and wife Pam and Mike Corn all of Odessa, MO; four sisters, Nancy Corn of Odessa, MO, Debbie Kaat and husband Ralph of Raytown, MO, Diane Barker of Odessa, MO and Lisa Volskay and husband Randy of Holden, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, John Corn, Randy Corn and Dennis Corn.
