Alexander “Alex” Lloyd Ayers, 22 of Lexington, Missouri formerly of Odessa, MO passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to the Ralph O. Alex was born on October 12, 1994 in Kansas City, MO to David Lloyd Ayers and Nancy Christine Ramsey. He graduated from Lexington High School in 2013. He worked for various tree trimming companies and also for Gann Steel in Odessa. He was a member of the Poplar Baptist Church in Warsaw, MO. Alex adored his children and loved spending time with them. In addition to spending time with his family and friends he enjoyed BMX Racing and working on cars.

Alex is survived by his mother, Nancy Ramsey of Lexington, MO; father and step-mother, David Lloyd Ayers and wife Michelle of Grain Valley, MO; two children, Drayce Clayton Ayers and Carson Clayton of Lexington, MO; maternal grandmother, Cynthia Combs of Oak Grove, MO; paternal grandparents, Michael and Mary Slaven of Independence, MO; three brothers, Cody Ramsey of Lexington, MO and Noah and Jonah Ayers of Grain Valley, MO; three sisters, Seiraya Slayen and Julia Christopher of Independence, MO and Allysiah Ayers of Grain Valley, MO; a niece, Jilliyet Williams of Independence, MO and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Cunningham and paternal grandparents, Orville Lloyd Ayers and Alma Faye Ayers.
