Billie Suzzane “Suzie” (Anderson) Painter, 70 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday March 5, 2019 peacefully at home.
Suzie’s family will host a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 786 Whitsitt Rd., Odessa, MO, 64076. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the ASPCA. Memories of Suzie and condolences for her family may be left at www.ralphojones.com or on our Facebook Page. Cremation has been entrusted to the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524.
Suzie was born on January 29, 1949 in Joplin, MO to William S. and Berniece Ida (Gunnett) Anderson. She graduated from Commerce High School in Commerce, Oklahoma. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Suzie enjoyed raising Arabian Horses, her animals, jogging, and going to the casino. She loved being outdoors on the farm.
Survivors include three children, Misti Dawn Ramsey and husband Bob of Odessa, MO, Sonny Painter and wife Rebecca of Liberty, MO and Brooke Killough and fiancé Nathan of Oak Grove, MO; six grandchildren, Camryn Ramsey, Trevor Ramsey, Kelsey Painter, Kenley Painter, Ella Garcia and Hunter Burnett; a sister Linda Norris of Odessa, MO; and four nieces, Tammy Myers, Tonny Norris, Trena Walls and Teanna O’Neill
In addition to her parents, Suzie was preceded in death by a brother, Lyonel Barbee.
