Harold John Haase, 93 of Napoleon, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the New Haven Living Center in Odessa, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the St. Paul Church of Napoleon, with Reverend George “Joe” Edmunds officiating, 205 Hill St., Napoleon, MO, 64074. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. Burial will be in the St. Paul Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the St. Paul Cemetery Fund or Crossroads Hospice. Harold was born on March 12, 1924 in Napoleon, MO to Fred and Hulda (Hackmann) Haase. He graduated in 1944 from Lexington High School in Lexington, MO. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Harold married Marilyn (Hoffman) Haase on June 7, 1950 in Napoleon, MO. Marilyn preceded him in death on February 6, 2009. Harold was a Farmer his entire working life and raised cattle and crops. He also drove a school bus for the Wellington-Napoleon School District for many years. Harold was a member of the St. Paul Church of Napoleon and served on the Church Board for many years. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Napoleon Bank for 29 years. Harold was a member of the American Legion Post #134 and the VFW in Wellington, MO. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include three children, Colette Rodenberg and husband John of Lexington, MO, Ardith Dieckmann and husband Curtis of Sibley, MO and Brian Haase of Napoleon, MO; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Harold was preceded in death by four brothers, Ruben Haase, Arlie Haase, Arnold Haase and Armin Haase.
