Ingrid Hope (Barker) Palmer, 71 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Monterey Park Rehabilitation and Health Center in Independence, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church, 806 S. Bus. Hwy. 13, Lexington, MO, 64067. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. Burial will be in the Lexington Memory Gardens. Memorials are suggested to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Dr., Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923. Ingrid was born on September 28, 1946 in Independence, MO to Earl and Virginia (Vocate) Barker. She graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, MO. After graduating high school Ingrid went to work for United Telephone, Carrollton Specialty and retired from Orbseal. On May 6, 1967 she married Dennis Palmer in Lexington, MO. He preceded her in death on September 4, 1988. Ingrid was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4052. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Ingrid enjoyed helping assemble braille books with the church, garage sales and adult coloring books.

Survivors include two children, Brian Palmer of Lexington, MO and Rachel Chrisman and husband Paul of Blue Springs, MO; three grandchildren, Lukas Palmer of Lexington, MO, Kelson Chrisman and Grant Chrisman, both of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, Raymond Barker and wife Ann of St. Charles, MO; two sisters, Robin Kopp and husband Terry of Lexington, MO and Cheryl Greenfield of Woodbridge, Virginia.

Ingrid was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
