Rene Lynn (Hartupee) Hilden, 51 of Wellington, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO.
A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home. Rene was born on June 28, 1965 in St. Louis, MO to Tom & Charlene (Sexton) Hartupee. Rene graduated from Ruskin High School and lived in Grandview prior to moving to Wellington. Rene was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She loved to help people any time she could and had a very giving heart. Rene was an organ donor and through her passing, she will change the lives of many families.
Rene is survived by a companion, Ty Moore of Wellington, MO; five children, Shandi Hilden of Wellington, MO, Aaron Hilden of Wellington, MO, Jason Hilden of Odessa, MO, Mark Hilden of Wellington, MO and Chad Meierer of Wellington, MO; three grandchildren, Grayson Hilden, Hunter Meierer and Remington Meierer; a brother Jeffrey Hartupee and a sister Angela Bittel of Independence, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Rene was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Sky Lynn.
