Sharon Loyola (Paxton) Holley

Sharon Loyola (Paxton) Holley, 74 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at home surrounded by family.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 7995 Outer Rd., Odessa, MO. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the church. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Sharon was born on December 16, 1944 in Sedalia, Missouri to Earl and Laura Marie (Smith) Paxton. She graduated in 1962 from Sacred Heart High School in Sedalia, MO. Sharon then attended Cosmetology School and became a Cosmetologist. On June 19, 1965 she married Kenneth C. Holley in Sedalia, MO. She was a homemaker and spent many years taking care of her family. Sharon was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, she loved attending and teaching bible studies. She also volunteered at nursing homes where she would pamper the residents by styling hair and giving manicures and pedicures. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Sharon loved her dogs and enjoyed arranging flowers and gardening.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Kenneth Holley of Odessa, MO; three children, Todd Holley of Odessa, MO, Angela Magee and husband Mike of Lee’s Summit, MO and Shelly Holley of Lee’s Summit, MO; four grandchildren, Kenny Holley, Alex, Max and Ben Magee; and one great grandchild, Zelda Holley; one brother, Joe Paxton of Lee’s Summit, MO; many nieces and nephews and many in-laws.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by three sisters; Earlene Dick, Elaine Harvey and Karen Martin.
