Sharon Kay Schieber

Sharon Kay (Ray) Schieber, 69, of Lexington, passed away May 17, 2018 at Lafayette Regional Medical Center. Per her wishes, Sharon was cremated. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Sharon was born August 13, 1948 to Orvil Ray and Mary Jane (Wheeler) Bybee. She worked for many years in housekeeping at Lafayette Regional Medical Center and retired from Ray County Memorial Hospital. After retirement Sharon proudly took on the role of caretaker for three of her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her children, Peggy Burkhart and companion Brett of Waverly, James Miller and wife Lisa of Lexington and Charles Schieber, Jr. of Lexington; grandchildren, Alicia, Beau, Adam, Maggie, Alex, Kylie, Kat, Hannah, Lauren, Erica, Lucas, Chelsie, Trustin, Johnny, Charlie, Olivia and Tabitha; three great grandchildren; and brothers, Gene Ray and wife Lola of Lexington, Charlie Ray of Lexington, John Ray and wife Sharon of Eagle Rock, Missouri and Lonnie Ray of Lexington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Tommy Ray and Carl Ray and sister Mary Briener.
